Vector File Prep Guidelines

  • Scale: Design must be saved at a 1:1 scale (in millimeters).
  • Geometry: Use closed loops for cutouts. Remove duplicate lines or overlaps.
  • Texts: Convert all font characters to vector paths/outlines.
  • Native Formats: DXF (binary, AutoCAD R14 or newer) or SVG are preferred. STEP/STP, DWG, and vector PDF are also accepted.
⚠️ Engineering Correction Policy: Files that do not meet laser preparation specifications (e.g. open paths, intersecting loops, non-vector PNG/JPG files) require manual adjustment by our technical designer. A file editing and preparation fee starting at $30.00 will be charged if engineering rework is required to make the file cut-ready.
